Dont Miss! Re: Newbie Here!

Thank you Wendy for your concern. Chloe was home all weekend. We started her on a little food at a time, with bread mixed in with as was advised by our vet. We never saw anything obvious come out of her, but since Friday evening she has kept all of her meals down, and has resumed a normal schedule, sometimes doing "her business" 4 or 5 times a day with ease. The vet said even though we didn't see it, the blockage must have broken up or exited. We are keeping our fingers crossed that this is the case. She goes to obedience classes in September and we have registered to compete in Hartford, Conn. in October for her first UAD event!!

RELIEF!

Post by Shiner Bock on Tue Aug 26, 2008 12:03 pm

Excellent news. Those silly labs will eat ANYTHING! Our 2-year old amazed me last winter when he had to restrict his potty area to a doogie-door-accessed fenced yard. When the snow melted I discovered all kinds of chewed up items. Lots of colorful plastics out there! Glad to hear Chloe is better and will be flying in Connecticut.
