I was great seeing Jim and Chris, and Sterling with Fernando at the Leslie event today!

Here are a few brags...

Fernando won 1st place in the 45 lb weight division. Good job, Fernando!

Baako won 4th place in the 100 lb weight division. Not bad for his first time ever pulling! Ultimate Air Elation

Hope to see you both, and more UADers, at future wpull events. Sweet!

The rumor was that they are going to host another one in 2 weeks, Kel did you get confimation on that??
Next weekend there is an outdoor pull in Three Rivers.

Yup, the information is on the UKC website, also. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful... got a few good recommendations on training (more break-out work, in particular) as well.

To get the information on the upcoming Three Rivers and Leslie events, go to ukcdogs.com and click "dog events" in the menu on the left edge of the screen. From there, click on "upcoming events" in that same left-hand menu. From there, you can search by month, state, or host club.

All the upcoming UKC wpull event dates currently listed:

Three Rivers: 2-9, 10
Leslie: 2-16, 17
Leslie: 3-1, 2
Kalamazoo: 3-7, 8, 9
Leslie: 4-12, 13

That's what we're hoping to work towards. Just kidding!

Congrats on Bubble's ranking!

We have a decent number of pulls in the state... most are at least a 2 hr drive though. I don't mind that, it's when they are over 3 hrs and I have to go there and back in the same day that makes you tired of sitting in the car. You make me laugh ti Ah well, not like I haven't done it before...

Unfortunately, a lot of the pulls scheduled over the rest of winter are the same dates as other sport trials I've already registered for. Luckily, some more are coming up in the spring/summer that I should be able to make.

yup - young Fernando is a SWD All Star. Star He is also a UKC Grand Champion show dog!! If you look even closer, Fernando is one of the top five dogs who would not be considered a traditional pulling breed. He is only one pull away from getting his weight pull Champion Excellent title AND Verstile title!!!! A Round of Applause! A Round of Applause! A Round of Applause! Sterling has done a nice job with him.
