Their web site (http://www.jaxhumane.org/events/trail-of-tails.aspx) says:

"Pets that are up to date on all vaccinations and spayed or neutered are welcome"

So I guess if we have an unaltered dog, we're not welcome? I don't see where they mention dock diving at this particular web site. Am I missing something?

We just agreed to participate. If you are coming to jump at our event your dog doesn't have to be neutered!

That sounds great! Thanks for the clarification. I'll put it on my calendar and try to attend. Since I live in the area, I'd be crazy to pass up the opportunity.

I plan to attend this event. We have never tried this before. Does anyone know of a place we could practice in north or central Florida?

Not many practice locations available. We will have plenty of practice time at this event. Plus Friday practice time is available.

I didn't realize that you would be set up on Friday prior to this event. What time can we practice? Will we be able to set up our crates etc on Friday? Will we be able to get close to the jump area to unload? Where will we be able to park? Sorry for so many questions, I'm not that familiar with The Landing area. Sweet!

The Landing does have a parking lot that you can get to from coming by the Omni hotel. Not sure the charge for the lot. Will try to go by this week and find out what the charge is since I work downtown. Exciting event. Hope to see you there.

Are there set jump times or just all day jumping? Dexie really wants to go just not sure I am up for the trip.

The UAD events page lists the following information on the times for the Trail of Tails Jacksonville splashes which is a little different than what I previously posted:

9:00 AM- Check-In & Practice
10:00 AM - SPLASH #1
11:00 AM - Check-In & Practice
NOON - SPLASH #2
AFTER S#2 - Finalist Posted & Check-in
1:00 PM - FINALS
