Dont Miss! Skijoring harness

I know that there are quite a few sled doggers and weightpullers on this board so thought I might try here first - am looking at possibly getting out my cross country skis (after 13 years ) and thought it might be nice to have one of the dogs join me. I don't know where to look however, for a skijoring harness for my German Shepherd. He's about 85 pounds and would probably be the best of our three dogs to join me on this venture. Haven't checked with any ski stores yet, again, wanted to check with other UADers first for any suggestions. Thanks in advance!

I can sort through my stack to see if I
can find one to fit him if you want. For more exact sizing, you can
measure him and order online. Companies like Adanac, Coldspot and ManMat are all pretty popular.

I hear ya!!! I finally got a pair of cross country skis this weekend and our snow has been melting for days. Can't believe I actually WANT some snow...I am definitely losing my mind!

I'd really like to try skijoring.Ihave a multi-dog running lead set up,but I think I would need something a little more substantial for XC skiing.

LOL!!! That's pretty accurate. I tried mine out this weekend, and I'm pretty sure this is not the kind of snow to do it on. But I was sweating my butt off after a few rounds in the back yard. Can't wait to hook Oskar up and have him help my sorry butt out!
