Sweet! Someone from the area! Where about do you train/practice at? I'd like to get my foot in the door before this seasons over.

My neighbor lets me bring the dogs over to swim in his pool, but that's more for conditioning than anything else. His pool is surrounded by cement, no carpeting for footing, so it's basically jumping off the sides into the pool. Unfortunately, I don't know of any places nearby with a dock in which to train. Pat's Place is I think the closest and that's still a drive, but the nice thing is it's set up specifically for dock jumping.

Where about is Pats Place? How long have you been involved in dock jumping? How many events do you do a year? Sorry about all the questions

Pat Currey's in Romulus, MI: http://www.curreysfamilypetcare.com/

I have been dock jumping for a couple of years now. Our very first event was up in Traverse City during the Cherry Festival in 2005.

I try to go to as many Michigan events that I can and theoccasional out of state one:)

I live out towards Eaton Rapids and have a pond just down the road I work the dogs in. No dock, but good place to exercise and work on their retrieving. I have been jumping almost 2 years and go to 12- 15 UAD events a year.
Give me a call 517-977-7153 and we can set up a time to get together and work the dogs.
