Dont Miss! Newbie Saginaw / Flint Mi Area

Post by AmphibiousAssaultDogTeam on Thu Apr 02, 2009 11:22 pm

Looking for local club or people to jump with in the Saginaw area. My Chocolate Lab Kady is very friendly. We are just looking for future friends who may help us learn the tips of dock diving and to have fun with.

Thanks

Check the summer even schedule! Just about every weekend this summer is packed, so pick an event, show up, and have a good time! Be sure to talk to people and ask for advice on anything you need. Ultimate Air Elation Summer is crazy busy for UAD, so finding an event shouldn't be a problem.

There is also a training facility in Romulus, MI with a full dock and pond. I believe they are starting a dock jumping club there this year, as well.

I am currently in negotiations with my local sportsmans club here in Mt. Pleasant to put in a platform for training and to generate some interest. My goal is to have 1 to 2 nights or afternoons as a group or club. I have gotten an okay from them but I still need to come up with a plan for the platform. Any suggestions for the most economical materials would be helpful. They have a really nice pond and its spring fed so its not algae filled and not too many mosquitos.

I believe the most economical material would be wood.
