Final week of fundraising for LRROF!

THANK YOU to the members of this forum that donated to help our rescue group! You all are so kind and generous to help out. I sent out hundreds of personal emails and the bulk of what I raised came from here and the Lab Board I post on. It is amazing the spirit of those you get to know via these boards. We are in the final week of raising to capture that generous match. We are still a few thousand dollars short so I am hoping with one last push we can make it so that it doesn't go to waste. I thought I knew who the match was (I had a few theories) but apparently it is a corporate match. Anyway, I will reiterate, weather for the love of dogs, the love of labradors or the love of a tax free donation, please check out my OP in the rescue section. This is going to be my final plea and hopefully I will update you all sometime next week with the outcome! Thank you all for being so kind :heart: .

OH and keep your fingers crossed. I have had a local woman call on Cheloe. This little girl needs a forever home as I think she feels she is already there lol. This lady lost her 14 year old lab this past weekend and needs a labby to love...

I was out shopping yesterday and spent a couple of hours at Bass Pro Shop....now if I would just win the Lotto I could go back and get everything I picked out

THANK YOU Barb and Marty! You guys rock AND you are funny lol. I am leaving the country Thursday so I am going to update one last time before then and then let you know how it went.

On another GREAT note, Cheloe did go to her forever home. I miss her...she was my longest boarder at the Inn but I know she went to nice people. Jubilee on the other hand is glad to be free of her lol. I have a new one slated to come in when I get back. A nice 2 year old yellow male. Hopefully he will get adopted before I get back but if not, he will lay his head here until his forever family finds him!

Don't worry Andrea...those handsome Yellow dogs are very popular!!

Have a good trip and we will keep an eye out for an update.

...only three days left...Last check we were short of the match but we have done ok but I am not sure we will make it. I have 15 donations, 11 of which came from out of the state. 4 donations from this board alone! 7 from a lab board, and 4 from personal family/friends.
