Dont Miss! UKC show in Canada

Post by crazyjackpack on Sun Jul 27, 2008 10:23 pm

Sarah was showing Beth Crawford's Indy this weekend in Erin Ontario.. She did amazing job with the big guy.
Friday she placed 1 st in JR Showmanship then in conformation she placed best breed but didn't fair to well in Group as Indy decided that the ladies where much more interesting then doing what he needed to do. It was a lesson learned by both handler and dog.
Saturday morning Sarah was still strugling with her handling and the pair just wasn't clicking.. But by the afternoon show they put it together and did amazing.. Indy placed best in breed then went on to placed third in class!!

She is really likeing this showing thing.. Look out she may be looking for more dogs to handle in the ring. Ultimate Air Elation

Congrats! Yeah... I know all about that "too into the girls
thing" with Indy... he had a bit of that going on when I showed him at
Premier. Just kidding!

Tell Sara good job!

Do you know if Beth is planning on bringing Indy to the upcoming big WS
show in Romulus? Perhaps that would be another opportunity for
Sara to handle him. There will be dockjumping and weight pulling,
along with a RNR K-9s demo as well.

I don't think they are going.. They are getting ready to go to the UK and on a fishing holiday as well before they get ready to go south for the winter. I am sure she would jump at the chance to show the big guy again though.. She loves him.

Once Sarah realized that she need to relax she did great. Beth and Scottie are both excelent people as well..
