Re: Midwest Shakedown
I bet Rocky will try to be there too. I might even hook Newman up and see if the old guy has some pull in him. He will pull the empty sled up and down the sidewalk here at home with no complaints. Maybe if it's on a cart he will also do it weighted.

Nevermind, I just checked Pat's online calendar and I guess there is a dock competition that day also.

Re: Midwest Shakedown
Just figured I would post with an update from today's event...
The UAD dogs in attendence all did very well.
Splash set a new personal best, pulling an amazing over 2400 lbs!
Jack Tar and Baako also did great, pulling OVER TWICE their previous bests, at 1656 lbs!
I chose to stop them there, as it was getting harder for them and, both still being new to the sport, I wanted to end on a guaranteed good note.
They both started pulling at only 245 lbs.
Congrats to everyone! We can't wait til the next pull!

Re: Midwest Shakedown
That was definatly a great time. Kel your boys were amazing they sure know what the job is and put their whole heart into it. The Bulldog people who run the event love your boys.
Yes I was one proud mom of the Princess pulling her heart out for me like that. she is one amazing girl.
