Ok I am pretty shure the micro ship clinic is back on. The original vet had a scheduling conflict but I think we have it worked out with another vet. I will post the times when I get them? Is this something that interests those of you comming?

The fun match will start after the junior showmanship shows, I am
guessing around noon or so. The fun match is open to any purebred dog.
It does not have to be UKC or AKC registered.

To enter as a Junior the person has to be under the age of 18 and has
to have to have a UKC junior number. You can get that by calling UKC or
checking on line. There is no charge to get a junior number. A junior
does need to show a UKC registered dog. If you don't have one let me
know, I have 2 push button goldens that are great with juniors and
would be glad to bring one for you.

There is also going to many other acitvities going on. For more information contact Thom Hadfield at 810-922-5737.

I can be contacted at: tommvs@aol.com or 517-285-8866

The UKC is being very generous and has donated 2 UKC binders to the winners of the Jr Handler competition

Thanks you UKC

Any purebred, registered or not, that is *intact* is allowed to compete in the conf fun match, right? Or are they allowing spayed/neutered as well?

Also, do you know if they are dividing dogs up by Ch/GrCh/class or just by age alone?

It's in Lapeer. I'm not sure where in Lapeer though. I think it's on the Skyhoundz website. We were going to take Rocky but he had a lot of dock practice tonight and is really tired. Plus, this way I get to go to Woodward for a little while.

Ok the fun match will be broke down just as if it was an official UKC conformation match. The only difference is we will probably not have a Group placement. That might be subject to change depending on the entries but our plan is class/breed/show At this time. Hope that helps

Hi all,

I just had to post after reading this. First of all Capital City Dog
Sports Association is very excited about coming to Flint and supporting
this worthy cause. The demo we will be putting on will encompass way
more than just Schutzhund. CCDSA is a club that trains and competes in
many different personal protection venues and I'm sure Cheryl has a
good program in mind for everyone from all of the different sports we
compete in and also just plain old personal protection scenarios.
Cheryl is an awesome speaker and I think everyone will enjoy what she
and the club have to offer. If you looked at the line up and thought,
oh I don't want to watch Schutzhund, trust me, you will thoroughly
enjoy the progam that Cheryl and the CCDSA will put on. Thanks for
inviting us and see you all on the 13th.

Sandy

This looks like a lot of fun for a great cause, Thom!

Lynnie and I will be there on and off throughout the weekend. (We have her sports schedule to plan around.) We wouldn't miss it for the world.

Thanks for all you do.
