Will the 2009 title count start with any event after the UAG/Southern Championships? I am guessing that the Novi event will be the first "Northern" event on the 2009 schedule, correct?

Just thought that I would let everyone know that Anna is in Providence Hospital tonight and is having surgery in the morning for appendicitis. Thoughts and prayers go out to her for a full recovery.

25th Anniversary Oyster Festival, Oyster Bay, LI, NY.... next weekend, Saturday & Sunday, October 18 and October 19 on the Waterfront at Theodore Roosevelt Park. This is a UKC sanctioned event, so UKC titles can be achieved. Although, your dog/s do NOT have to be UKC registered to compete.

Hi,

Nessa and I are new to this, and are hopefully going to enter our first event in Novi. She has done some practice/play jumps at Premeir and at Flint. I have a few questions though, If going for a UKC title she needs to qualify in 5 splashes? If We enter all 5 splashes in Novi- and are very lucky could she title in one weekend? One more question....does she have to stay and leave when I send her?..I most likely will be doing this on my own and she gets very excited and does not wait...sometimes ...

As most of you know we were robbed in Aug, during the day while Art and I were at work. All three dogs were in the house, none crated at the time, but I have never considered my dogs "protection" dogs, but Belle is big with a big bark so she could be an obstacle. I'm trying to decide if we will attend this event, it's not too far from us and we would like to go, but I'm just a little a hesitant about what to expect!!

Early Fall in CT

Alisa took a few pictures of some of the early turning trees around our house. Thought we would share. For those of you who will be driving up to CT for the Pet Expo on Oct. 25-26th it is going to be a great time for looking at the beautiful trees. If you are coming up through NJ and Pennsylvannia you may want to take the Hutchinson River Parkway in New York that turns into CT-15. This is a scenic 2-lane road that is absolutely gorgeous in the fall.

Ten and I competed this weekend in Connecticut for his WC-Working Certificate, also in a Puppy Stakes. He passed!! Participation ribbons were given out in the Puppy Stakes and Qualifying ribbons in the WC. We had a great time. We couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather.
