Virgina Outdoor Sportsmen Classic Aug. 22-24 Last Chance for PURINA

This event will be a last chance qualifier for teams to make Purina's Incredible Dog Challenge finals to be held in Oct. at Purina Farms. The winning dog must have previously jumped at a UAD event and have proved capable of jumping over 22 feet at least 2 times at this or one of our other events. Purina qualifiers are not included in events jumped at. You must have participated in competition during the weekend and jumped in finals to be eligible to go to Purina. If you jumped at event where small dock was used you had to jump over 19'6". MILT

Hey Milt, do you know if this event will be long dock or not yet? It's not listed on the schedule yet... but I figured maybe you could give us an early idea of what to expect.

Ginger will def be there to root on her fellow doggy freinds for the purina round.Hope its a long dock .But we will be their regardless

yeah the jack pack is headed to va. wohoo My kids(human ones) will be with us too.They asked today if they were allowed to go to watch the dogs jump .I think there is excited as i am.

Tell them they can go but they have to stay in their crates while Ginger is on the dock because you won't be able to hold their leashes.

Honestly if i give them the dogs new smaller jolly ball on a rope they would probably enjoy it to much kids will play with anything they told me since it wasn't slobered on yet they thought they would try it out

Milt... is there going to be a separate Purina round to qualify or will the dog have to win the entire competition like last year?

No Purina round. Dog that qualifies has to win the event. Also you must have jumped in UAD events before other than just a Purina round and must have had at least 2 jump[s over 22'.

I was wondering the same thing....

We are working to get long dock there. If you notice our schedule we are really busy in August. I just bought another long dock/trailer that will be ready the end of this month and another 41' pool. Here's hoping for the best of circumstances.

Outdoor jump but the show is indoors I believe. We are setting up inside a riding arena. Trying to get long dock down there.

Inside a riding arena... Oh boy, sounds like we may see mud levels similar to UAD's first year at Imlay! Lol.
