Okay I hadn't quite anticipated needing to have so many things I don't already. I guess since its our first time I'll make the best of it although I do appreciate all the tips.

Michelle,

We will be at this event on Saturday and would be more than happy to help you with "getting your feet wet" or should I say your "Brits feet wet".
My brother has two Brits that we love to death, they are such sweet dogs. Unfortunately for us we are kind of hard to miss. We have a yellow lab
named Sky and my two children handle the dog on the dock. This usually leaves me a lot of free time when I am not taking pictures!!! So look for the guy with a Canon camera plastered to his face during the splashes. As I said we will be more than happy to help and I know that most of the other folks there that are regulars would love to help as well.

My plan is to come for the Saturday AM splash. Depending on how that goes I'll see about the rest of the weekend. Apparently, I missed being able to pre-register, but Alisa posted that she thought maybe I could still get in. I hope so. I mainly want to check it out, but would like to give it a go since none of the events are normally held anywhere near me.

I just wanted to post & thank everyone for all their help and assistance. Despite the fact that I got badly sunburned & look like a lobster now I had a great time with Tanner & meeting all the other dogs. I hope we will get a chance to find a place to practice & give it a go the next time the event is in the area. It was so thrilling watching the dogs fly through the air. Those Labs all look like they have turbo powered wings on!
